Westlin Rail were appointed by QTS as the civils contractor to undertake works to improve the overall stability of the Lawn Lane embankment on the East Coast Mainline.
The project involved initial and ongoing track monitoring to identify any movement during the works.
We installed access roads to protect third-party land and ensure the area was accessible at all times. 20,000 tons of Class 1A material, 12,500m2 badger netting and topsoil covering were also installed to design specification.
The project was crowned by a testimonial from Network Rail, underlining Westlin’s commitment to professionalism and reliability.
